This enchanting cocktail has a rich bold aniseed base with brandy, coupled its cherry notes from the wine, finished with a splash of cola is guaranteed to help ride the blues away with good company or a decent cure after a long night.

Ingredients

• 60ml/ 2oz dry red wine
• 60ml/ 2 oz Brandy
• 100ml/ 3.3 oz Cola

Method

• In a shaker with ice, add the wine and Brandy, shaking for 8-10 seconds,
• Pour and filter into a chilled wine glass and add in the cola.
